Mexican Wedding Cakes

2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. finely chopped nuts
Confectioners sugar

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, and salt. Mix butter into dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the vanilla and nuts and mix well. Shape dough into 1/2 inch balls or small, crescent shapes. Place 1 inch apart on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly browned. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
