Mexican Wedding Cakes
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2-1/4 c. flour (Gold Medal Wondra is best) 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Procedure: Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together. Blend 1/3 of the flour into the butter mixture. With hands, work in remaining flour and nuts in two parts until dough holds together. Form dough in 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
